How to Enter
The contest runs from July 1 through August 31, 2026.
Enter by completing one of the entry methods below during this period of time.
For Local Food Enthusiasts
One of the two cash prizes is destined for a local food enthusiast.
1. Write some reviews
Find one or more businesses you're familiar with in our local food directory and leave them a thoughtful review. Every review gives you one entry towards the grand prize.
Note: You must include your email address with the review, otherwise it will not count as an entry in our contest. We will not publish your email address, and we will only contact you using this email address if you are a contest winner.
2. Subscribe to your region's newsletter
Find your region in our directory, for example the Kingston, ON region, and sign up for the newsletter.

For Local Food Businesses
One of the two cash prizes is destined for a local food business.
1. Get reviews on your listing
Every review you receive on your listing counts for one entry in the contest.
2. Post a news update
Post a news update on your listing from your dashboard. Maximum of one entry per listing for this action.
Winner Announcement
A winner for each of the grand prizes will be announced by September 14, 2026. Each winner will be contacted by email.
Participant Requirements
You must be a resident of Canada that is 16 years of age or older to be considered an eligible contest winner.
Prize winners may spend their winnings as they please, though we request that it is spent on local food in their region.
