Tallow & Crumb exists because we were tired of being lied to—politely, legally, and with very attractive packaging. If you’ve ever flipped over a so-called keto product and found a lab-built ingredient list hiding behind the words net carbs, you already know the problem.

Most keto and “low-carb” foods game the system. They bulk products up with added fiber, gums, and filler nonsense—not because your body needs it, but because it lets them subtract carbs later and call it “net.” It’s accounting, not nutrition. A spreadsheet trick dressed up as health food. Add fake fibers, subtract them on the label, sprinkle in sugar alcohols, and suddenly junk food is “keto.”

Your metabolism isn’t impressed. And we’re not pretending it should be.
